Palm Springs Wildlife Advocates has no paid staff and relies totally on caring volunteers to help fulfill its mission. PSWA volunteers fall into two categories: rescuers and administrative volunteers.
Individuals interested in becoming rescuers must participate in ongoing training and be available to respond on short notice. They are at the core of our mission to rescue wildlife. Administrative volunteers are also needed to help in such areas as fundraising, public relations, community outreach, and education.

If you're a veterinarian or have training in wildlife rehabilitation, please contact us and let us know how you can help. There are so few places in the Coachella Valley where rescued animals can be treated and sometimes volunteers have to transport the injured or sick animal long distances to get care.
